Creator iconicicon has released their first ROM hack, bringing 14 Disney/Pixar characters into the game for you to choose from, 12 of which can be seen below. Bosses have also been changed to characters like Maleficent to bring in that extra Disney feel. They've used the source code from the Super Mario Bros 2 hack by producks, meaning that some of the redesigned characters like Wall-E and Luca have different abilities.
Some of the character sprites have been pulled from Mickey Mousecapade, with others coming from NES and Game Boy titles, and iconicicon has given credit to other devs who have helped to bring his creation to life. It's important to give credit and show support to others through these processes!
With cheats available, a two-player mode, multiple new characters, and a complete graphical overhaul, Disney Dream Land gives fans of the world's most famous mouse a chance to reimagine a classic adventure with characters from Disney's illustrious film catalogue.
