Retro Fighters know how to make incredible controllers. The BattlerGC Pro sits atop my GameCube ready for me to play some Star Fox Adventures whenever the feeling strikes. The Hunter changed the way we play OG Xbox games, and the Brawler 64 has given us all some amazing gaming sessions on the N64. As a company, Retro Fighters are shaping the future of the retro gaming scene, and now they're inviting gamers to help shape the company's future through an equity crowdfunding campaign.

Like the Atari Hotels campaign we covered back in December, this campaign is offering fans a chance to have a say and become more involved in Retro Fighters. And, while I'm not here to give you financial advice, I wanted to share the campaign with you all and help spread the word for our controller-loving friends across the pond.

Things have never looked better for Retro Fighters. They've become an official partner of Xbox, they've got a great back catalog of products, and the hype surrounding the Switch 2 Battle Dock is still at an all-time high. The first two months of 2026 alone have seen them rack up over $800K of wholesale pre-orders and sales.

Now, they're hoping that their Wefunder campaign will allow the retro gaming community and long-time fans of the business a chance to share in the next exciting stage of their journey, giving investors some cool perks along the way.

The campaign has a goal of $75,000, and you can invest from as little as $100 all the way up to $100,000 and beyond. Investor perks start from $250+, giving you recognition as a supporter on the website. There are Investor Edition controllers, coins, Beta access to hardware, custom-designed controllers, sample units, private quarterly update calls, and more available depending on how much you invest, with the chance to be a part of an annual virtual strategy session and get up close with the company for those wanting to make the biggest possible investment.

Speaking on the newly announced investment opportunity, Retro Fighters' Vice President explained that 'By investing, you’re not just supporting a product, you’re joining a company with a proven track record of successful campaigns, strong fan engagement, and ambitious growth plans.'

Retro Fighters are offering fans the chance to share in the company's success as it grows, all while building a solid community of fans. The additional funding from investors will allow them to accelerate development on multiple new and innovative products and get them into our eager hands, bringing exciting new controller moulds and advanced software to products that will undoubtedly enhance our gaming experiences.

If investing is something you would like to do, then set up a meeting with your financial advisor and take a look at the Retro Fighters Wefunder page. We hope that everything goes well for the campaign and look forward to seeing more exciting products coming out of RF HQ very soon!
