We all love playing our favourite retro games, but when you've spent so long playing games on PS4 and PS5 and having little notifications popping up telling you that you've achieved something worthwhile or got a trophy for being the last gamer standing, you start to miss it when you go back to older games.
If you're not familiar with RetroAchievements, then the platform does exactly that, providing an achievement and trophy system when you play your favourite titles on via your favourite emulator. And now, you can access the service for GameCube games played through Dolphin when using Android emulators.
Your prayers have been heard. We are proud to announce that RetroAchievements is available on Dolphin ANDROID for GameCube games, and Wii/WiiWare coming in March!

It's worth noting that this is a developmental build at the moment and in open beta stage. This essentially means that while it's been tested to a certain degree, there might issues that still need to be tackled that come up now that widespread testing is occurring. As it's a 'work in progress', you won't be able to see the full achievement list for the game you're playing yet, though that will be sorted once the stable version heads our way soon. what's more, Wii/WiiWare compatibility is said to be coming early 2026.
To get RetroAchievements on your Android device, you can either Opt into the Dolphin Emulator beta program on Google Play, or you can download the latest dev build from the Dolphin Emulator website via RetroAchievements!
