When word arrived that Acclaim, the creators of some of my favourite N64 games of all time, had risen from the ashes like a Turok-shaped phoenix, I was very excited. This studio gave me some of the best memories of my childhood, so I was more than happy to see them hitting the restart button and coming back to the table with new releases.
Up till now, they've kept their cards close to their chest about their future plans, and rightly so. They want to get everything just right and to make this a perfect return for the fans. They've been working incredibly hard to make this new chapter one that we'll never forget, and with news of a big announcement coming next week, our patient wait for answers will soon be over.
'Buried behind the static of glowing CRT monitors lies the promise of big things to come from one of the most beloved publishers of the 80s and 90s. Gaze into the cathode ray glow long enough, and you might even find something unexpected staring back at you!' Well, I watched the video, and I caught this split second image popping out of the screen. Could this be in relation to Vexx, or Turok? Maybe Shadow Man, or perhaps (and this is a long shot) a new version of Iggy's Reckin' Balls?
