All Pokémon Ultra Sun Cheats [Fully Tested Codes]

An enhanced version of the 7th generation title Pokémon Sun, 2014 game Pokémon Ultra Sun brings numerous improvements and completely new features to the Alolan setting of the original. Pokémon Ultra Sun and its sister title, Pokémon Ultra Moon, were the last main series Pokémon games to be released on 3DS. We’ve tested all of the cheats we could find for Pokémon Ultra Sun, and have listed each working code here.

It’s worth noting that all of these cheat codes will need an emulator which supports code entry; even better if your emulator can auto-detect code types. Our recommendations for emulation on mobile devices would be Azahar; this is the emulator we’ve used to test the code on this list. Codes can be entered, enabled and disabled with ease using this emulator.

How to Use Pokémon Ultra Sun Cheat Codes

This is the same advice that we’d give for any Pokémon cheats: remember to always save your game before applying any cheats, and for the best, most stable results, turn off all other cheats when applying and using a new one. As there are so many different combinations of codes possible, we can’t guarantee they’ll all work together as intended. In fact, we often have trouble ourselves when multiple cheats are used simultaneously, so it’s worth turning off as many as you can to use the latest one you want.

If you get stuck or the added cheats do crash or otherwise break your game, you can always go back to your save point. It’s important to remember to turn each added cheat off before saving again too, so that the chances of crashing or otherwise breaking your game, by adding a new code, are reduced.

Do note that numerous versions of Pokémon Ultra Sun are available. Our cheats have been fully tested on the 1.0 version of Pokémon Ultra Sun, which seems to be the most widely used version. Note that later versions require patches which may be difficult to find and apply, so we have not listed cheats for those versions here. All of the codes on this list have been tested by us here at Retro Dodo, and each cheat’s section tells you how to make sure each cheat code functions as you need it to.

Be very careful with cheats for different versions of Pokémon Ultra Sun, or codes which we have not listed here; we found many which completely glitched our game, so remember to save often when enabling cheats!

Walk Through Walls

We can’t stress enough how careful you need to be with this code, as it can glitch you out of the game’s world so easily. The best way to use it is to enable it to pass an obstacle, then immediately disable it. Also, even though we have already mentioned the importance of saving your game, it’s absolutely crucial that you save regularly any time you use this code, as you can end up stuck ‘outside’ the world permanently. We have tried using a large number of other codes for Pokémon Ultra Sun which we’ve seen elsewhere. However, for our Pokémon Ultra Sun version (we’ve been using 1.0 to test these cheat codes), no other codes would work properly for us. For example, we couldn’t ensure that codes which are supposed to give you a specific wild Pokémon would work every time. Therefore, we have not included this code, or others which wouldn’t work reliably (or at all).
