The Pokémon Presents live stream for the Pokémon 30th Anniversary celebrations was as jam-packed as we all hoped, with lots of news to mark three decades of Pikachu and the gang in our lives. Not only have we got a new mini Game Boy music player heading our way as well as today's release of FireRed and LeafGreen, but the Pokémon Company have finally revealed the Gen X starters for Pokémon Winds & Waves.

Pokémon fans around the world, please put your hands together for Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua!
Browt is undoubtedly our newest Grass-type Pokémon, a ferociously fluffy chick who looks like they'll be pecking the opposition into the dust. Pombon could be the least-lethal-looking Fire-type Pokémon I've ever seen, but definitely one of the cutest; and Gecqua looks like a cool-headed Water-type Pokémon with shades of Inteleon about it.
At this current time, I don't have any information on secondary or final evolutions for these new critters, but at least we can finally put names to the Gen X starters and get excited to take them out on a brand new adventure, one that looks incredibly beautiful from what I've seen in the Pokémon Presents video!
Who will you be going f0r? As a life-long Fire-type fan, I'll be taking Pombon to the very end of the game with me. I just hope he turns into some sort of ferocious wolfhound or something instead of princely pomeranian!
