All Pokémon Mega Power Cheats (Full Code List)

Pokemon Mega Power
Mega Power on the Pocket Air Mini

,Pokémon Mega Power is a story-based ROM hack of Pokémon Emerald. It adds an entirely new narrative, new regions and Pokémon from later generations of the series. The ability to Mega Evolve Pokémon has even been added to Pokémon Mega Power, as you may have expected from the name of the hack. Having been launched in 2014, it’s still a great example of what ROM hacks can offer, and its stability as well as several updates have meant that fans hold Pokémon Mega Power in high regard even now. So we’ve decided to take a look at what cheats are available to enhance or transform your experience of Pokémon Mega Power even further!

It’s worth noting that all of these cheat codes will need an emulator which supports code entry; even better if your emulator can auto-detect code types. Our recommendations for emulation, particularly for mobile devices, would be Delta or MyBoy!.

How to Use Pokémon Mega Power Cheat Codes

Each code may require a slightly different method to ensure that it works, which we’ve detailed in each section. Also (and this applies when using any ROM hack), remember to always save your game before applying any cheats, and preferably turn off all other cheats when applying a new one. As there are so many different combinations of codes possible, we can’t guarantee they’ll all work together as intended.

If you get stuck or the added cheats do crash or otherwise break your game, you can go back to your save point. Do remember to turn each added cheat off before saving again too. We’ve tested each of these codes to ensure they work, and we’ve let you know how to make sure each code functions as you would expect in each section.

Catch Trainer’s Pokémon

This cheat must be enabled before a battle with another Trainer begins. The Pokémon sprite shown may match the first Pokémon you battle, rather than the one you catch, but it will be the correct Pokémon in your Team and Pokédex after the battle ends:

Teleport to Any City/Town

Pokémon Mega Power Teleport Cheat

Do note that you should only enable one of these cheats at any time, and that you’ll teleport to the desired location when entering any door, or exiting any building or cave. If you’re stuck and can’t move when you teleport, use the Walk Through Walls cheat to free yourself:

Walk Through Walls

Pokémon Mega Power Walk Through Walls Cheat

You won’t be able to walk through the edges of the map, and some objects, such as ledges, will remain impassable. If you are unable to progress through an area because the story needs you to complete a specific objective first, you’ll also be blocked. However, you’ll be able to freely move around unlocked areas using this code, through walls and other normally blocked map elements:

  • 7881A409 E2026E0C  8E883EFF 92E9660D

Note On Other Pokémon Mega Power Codes

We have seen other codes for modifying Wild Pokémon encounters in various ways, including choosing their level, which specific Pokémon you encounter, and even being able to choose Mega Pokémon to encounter. However, in the latest version of Pokémon Mega Power, we couldn’t verify them as working, so we have not included them on this list. We’ve also seen a code to have Master Balls appear in your PC storage, but again, this would not work for us. As the Master Ball in Poké Mart code works, this isn’t needed anyway!
