With Pokémon's 30th Celebration in full swing, and the slow reveal of many new cards in their recently revealed "30th Celebration" set, we have been pleasantly surprised by Pokémon Japan's announcement of all of the highly sought-after First Partner Illustration cards that are part of a promo collection.
Some of these cards have started being released across the globe in "series", with Series 3 being the next wave of releases in August, and more coming in October, starting at around 1,200 yen each ($8/£5).
The 3-pack card set will also come with a paper stand to display your beautiful cards. This is the first time we're seeing the entire card collection.
I have my hands on the first three starters, which I absolutely love. They are well illustrated, with nostalgic nods to the classic video games in which they first appeared. The same goes for all of the upcoming modern first partner illustration cards, too.
