One of the leading third-party gaming peripheral manufacturers, PDP, has announced the PDP REALMz controller line, featuring iconic characters we all know and love.
Everyone enjoys adding a new peripheral or two to their collection, either to use or to simply show off as a display piece.
With a PDP REALMz controller, you get the best of both worlds.
Not only do you get the PDP quality from a company that has been in the game since 1991, the designs are something you’ll have likely never really seen before.
This is because they feature some of the most recognizable characters in gaming, both outside and in thanks to its multi-layered design.

By this we mean there’s both graphics on the exterior and throughout the translucent body.
What makes them truly unique though is the inclusion of a mini figure inside the controller itself, adding even more flair to the already impressive aesthetics.
There’s even some LED lighting, something you certainly don’t see on the traditional first party offerings.
The first partnership for the PDP REALMZ Controllers is Sonic the Hedgehog, with the likes of Transformers and Pikmin following suit later in the year, and we expect many more recognizable franchises to collaborate in the future.
The Sonic collaboration has a plethora of different designs, with the Hedgehog himself featuring as a mini figure alongside his trusty sidekicks Tails and Knuckles.
The controllers are available for Xbox and Nintendo Switch systems, and have both wired and wireless variants, matching your preferred play style.
The pricing starts at $39.99 for the wired Nintendo Switch option, with the wireless coming in $20 more at $59.99.
The Xbox version is wired only but is priced right in the middle at $49.99.
The PDP REALMz controllers are available to pre-order on August 25 on both the PDP website and at any other participating retailers.
We think these will sell incredibly well so get your pre-order in as soon as possible before your favorite design goes completely out of stock!
Who knows, when we get our hands on one, maybe they’ll make it onto our best Nintendo Switch controllers list.
