We all wanted to become adults so quickly when we were kids, and then when we got there, we had people telling us we couldn't wear Sonic the Hedgehog t-shirts to work, or that wearing a red hat and blue overalls like Mario wasn't the correct attire to be a plumber. Thankfully, I dedicate my life to showcasing products that can help 90s kids like you and me add some subtle reminders of our childhoods into our everyday lives, and the new Sega X Higround collaboration takes me right back to the days of playing the Sega Mega Drive until my thumbs were sore.

How amazing is this keyboard! You're looking at the Higround Basecamp 96+ Keyboard with a Classic SOnic design, complete with a numpad for all of your quick calculating and spreadsheet needs. It's a stylish mechanical keyboard with dye-sub PBT keycaps, hot-swappable pre-lubed TTC Neptune switches, an aluminum plate, and Higround's Dampening Plus system.

This is the second time that Higround and Sega have teamed up, and this new collection screams 90s gaming. Just look at those colours above, complete with Knuckles pushing up his shades. The font used for both the numbers and keys is amazing too, and have you seen the arrow keys? I always want to have an up key that's Sonic's face from now on.

As well as a complete Sonic Keyboard, Higround are also selling keycaps that, when placed onto your mechanical keyboard, display a picture of the blue blur himself as from Sonic CD. Both of these items are available through Best Buy on the Higround website, with the Sonic Classic Keyboard retailing at $189.95, and the Sonic CD Keycaps retailing at $69.95.

You can also pick up this epic extra-large mousemat too, big enough to place your trackpad and extra action buttons on. Again, it promotes the best Sonic era (in my humble opinion) and comes complete with those classic colours that we've all seen on the opening of Sonic levels over the years. The XL Mouse Pad retails at $49.95

And what about some of the other keyboards in the featured image above, like the Dreamcast-themed keyboard or the dark and moody Shadow the Hedgehog-inspired design? Unfortunately, these are currently sold out, and I don't currently know when they might return to the site, if at all. They are currently available on eBay (as is always the case), so if you're gutted that you missed out, you can still pick them up, albeit with a hefty markup.
