World Mario Day (March 10 / Mar10) is fast approaching, and Nintendo has a new Mario themed Switch bundle coming out in celebration.
So plenty of reasons to put Mario center stage and remind people why we love Nintendo.
We had heard rumblings about this new Switch bundle last week, but nothing had been confirmed quite yet.
Considering that Nintendo always does something special for Mario Day (March 10), we pretty much assumed this was a sure thing.
Nintendo Switch Mario Choose One Bundle
So what exactly is the Mario Choose One Bundle?
Well, the most obvious thing is that it includes a new Switch, dock, joycons. Red joycons, to be exact.
We are less impressed that the console itself has no sort of theme happening besides the red colored joycons.
No cool Mario designs on the joycons, the back of the console, or on the dock. Nothin’.
Also, this new Switch bundle does not come with a new OLED unit. We kind of expected that would be the standard now.
Perhaps the biggest selling point for this particular bundle is you can choose from three classic Mario game titles: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, or Super Mario Odyssey.
These are all must-play titles, and you can’t go wrong with any of them.
But is it enough to make this particular bundle worth picking up another Switch?
Honestly, the Mario edition they released two years ago looks kind of cooler and more of an obvious theme. Even the existing Mario Odyssey edition looks more planned out.
But hey, who are we to judge?
You’d be hard pressed to find somebody out there who does not own at least one Nintendo Switch at this point. Which is why the Switch is fast approaching the top of the list of best selling consoles of all time.
But if you’re one of the rare folks who does not own a Switch, does not own one of the three Mario games offered, or just wanna spoil yourself in celebration of Mario day… here’s your chance.
