We also got a nice comparison photo of the new Odin2 vs the original model. This is helpful to give us an impression of what to expect.
Surely you’d agree that the new Odin2 is looking absolutely beautiful, and a worthy upgrade from the previous model.
Just as an extra bonus for today’s new info, we also found out that AYN is going to be selling a pretty nice dock for the Odin2 as well.
The dock uses the USB-C port at the bottom of the Odin2 to… well… dock.
And the dock itself features two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, gigabit ethernet, and HDMI output.
AYN Odin2 Release Date & Pricing
AYN has announced that their IndieGogo pre-sale for the Odin2 will go live on August 22nd at 8pm BJT / 8am EST.
And the pricing will breakdown as follows:
- Base Model [8+128gb]: $299 Early bird / $339 Retail
- Pro Model [12+256gb]: $369 Early bird / $439 Retail
- Max Model [16+512gb]: $449 Early bird / $499 Retail
So as you can see, jumping on the Odin2 team early will get you a $40-70 discount, depending on which model you go with.
We have seen mention of a December 2023 fulfilment date passed around social media, but we would take that information with caution.
Still, knowing that there are finished models available right now (as seen in new photos and videos), we don’t expect them to have issues with this delivery date.
Overall, the community sounds very excited and impressed with all details surrounding the release of the Odin2, and we wish AYN a very successful launch.
So far, so good!
