Images Of The Sonic X Transformers Crossover Toys Have Leaked Online

We’ve seen so many Sonic crossovers and cameos since we started Retro Dodo. He’s the man… or animal of the moment with the upcoming release of the third Sonic Movie, but we’ve been there when he brought out a candle range and when he’s slowed down his adventures to appear on board games. This next crossover could be the best we’ve seen yet, however, with the Blue Blur entering the world of Transformers with some brand-new figurines. And yes, the 90s kid in me is losing his mind right now.

We’ve already had a sneaky teaser from the Transformers account on Instagram of the Transformer’s logo morphing into a gold ring, but you know how impatient the internet is. There are already some leaked images doing the rounds on social media, with multiple pages including DiscussingFilm showing us what some of the new toys look like.

Sonic turning into the Speed Star and Tails transforming into the Tornado – I’m already getting my wallet out to prepare my credit card for a battering. Sonic and Tails both have the same eyes as the Transformers characters too, and they look insanely detailed with 27 and 32 steps a piece to turn them into their vehicle forms.

From looking at the picture above, which I need to emphasise may or may not be the final product, we can see Sonic has a Captain America-style shield made out of a Gold Ring, and Tails looks like he’s wielding a jet thruster as a blaster. There’s no word on how much these figurines will cost or when they will drop as of yet, but I’m sure we’ll be hearing something incredibly soon now that images have leaked all over the internet. And when we do, I’ll be sure to update this article and let you know. I would love to see some Shadow and Robotnik ones added to the list too – if Knuckles comes out I’ll sell my right arm to get one!
