Iconic Arcade Game Snow Brothers 2 Has Been Remade For Switch & PC

Snow Bros 2 Special poster

How about this for a blast from the past - the classic arcade game Snow Bros 2 has been remade for the Switch and PC 31 years after its original release. It was back in 1994 when gamers first took princes who could control the elements on a quest to rescue Princess Pudding, and now a whole new generation of gamers can experience the action anytime, anywhere on Switch.

If you're a fan of the original, then the remake has kept the iconic design and the controls of the game the same, though it's brought the graphics kicking and screaming into this decade and added online & cross-platform multiplayer, so you and up to three friends can team up together no matter what device they're playing on.

Packaged versions of the standard and limited editions of the game called Snow Bros. 2 Special released today, though downloadable versions of the game have been out since April 10th with positive feedback rushing in from fans.

According to Famitsu, the Limited Edition game comes with miniature figurines of the four prince characters from the game, a hardback art book, a metal keyring, soundtrack, manual, stickers, and more.

Both versions of the game boast three new modes too; Survival, Time Attack, and Sky Run. There are now 19 new stages added to the original 26, giving you 45 levels to play through. If you're a long-time Snow Bros fan, then you need to get this in your life!

Check out Amazon Japan for the Limited Edition package, or pick up the standard edition from your local Amazon.
