How To Get The Gravity Suit In Metroid Prime Remastered

Have you been avoiding taking Samus for a swim? I totally get it – the drag of the water, the murky vision, it’s just not a fun experience. Which is why you need to learn how to get the Gravity Suit in Metroid Prime Remastered.

Oh yes. This suit will greatly improve Samus’ exploration of those murky depths, allowing her to move about freely, and with a better view of where she’s headed.

Regardless of where you are in the game, if you want that Gravity Suit you have to go back to Phendrana Drifts, which, depending on where you are right now, could prove quite the trek.

But nothing worthwhile is ever easy, and the Gravity Suit is more than worthwhile – it’s your one way ticket to sunken wreckage at the Frigate Crash Site.

How To Get The Gravity Suit In Metroid Prime Remastered

The Gravity Suit is located on the opposite side of the Gravity Chamber, found at Phendrana Drifts. The area is flooded with water, and has enemies lurking within; dispatch any enemies, and jump onto the ledge to obtain the Gravity Suit.

If all you needed was a location, there you go! But if you want a route to the Gravity Chamber, I’ve got your back.

When you arrive at Phendrana Shorelines, head to the Quarantine Cave (where we beat Thardus) via the Ruined Courtyard. Inside the cave is a Sheegoth waiting to attack, though you don’t have to fight it if you don’t want to.

Now use the Spider Ball to make your way across to the South Quarantine Tunnel. From here, head to Magmoor Caverns South Transport but don’t use it. Instead, take the Spider Ball track located behind the lift.

Into The Frost Cave

Once you’ve made it to Frozen Pike, take the purple door across the way and down from your current location; this will open up the Frost Cave Access, which will take you to the Frost Cave itself.

There’s a handy Save Station on the right hand side of the room, so don’t forget to use it. As much as I love this game, Save Stations are a rare find.

After you’ve saved, enter the Upper Edge Tunnel and make your way to Phendrana’s Edge. Under the water, directly below the door you came in, is another door that’ll take you to the Hunter Cave and, finally, the Gravity Chamber

Now Samus has the Gravity Suit, it’s time to travel all the way back to the Frigate Crash Site! I know you’ve already endured a lot of back and forth, but it’s all part of the Metroid Prime charm.
