How To Beat Sludge Like In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

How To Beat Sludge Like In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

We’ve figured out how to beat Master Kohga in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, but now we have a new challenge: understanding how to beat Sludge Like in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

We’ve encountered Like Likes before, but the Sludge Like is different because it spews out mud. Getting hit causes damage, getting caught slows Link down.

Basically, avoid its sludge at all costs.

But how do you do that when you’ve got mud being slung all over? I’m going to answer that question and more in the guide below, so stick around.

To beat Sludge Like, you should use Sidon’s power or Splash Fruit to clean mud off the enemy and reveal its weak spot, then attack whilst it’s exposed.

Although Sidon’s power is the obvious choice here, I didn’t find it particularly useful. By the time I was ready to launch my attack, the Sludge Like has popped the water shield, rendering the attack useless.

My advice: stick to Splash Fruit or Blue ChuChu Jelly.

This mini boss isn’t hard. In fact, I’d argue it’s pretty darn easy. However, it’s tedious because of that mud. Unfortunately, you can’t skip the battle, like when we learnt how to beat Battle Talus.

Once Sludge Like is defeated, head to the East Reservoir Lake to meet Sidon and get to the bottom of this sludge problem.

Hopefully, this short but sweet guide on how to beat Sludge Like in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has been useful because next up is the Water Temple boss!
