Just because we know how to beat Ganondorf in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, it doesn’t mean we’re done. There are still many enemies to take down, and you’ll need all the help you can get when it comes to figuring out how to beat Frost Gleeloks in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
You’ve likely seen these three headed dragons scattered across Hyrule, though it’s important to point out that not all Gleeloks are icy.
Consequently, it’s vital that you hit whichever Gleelok you discover with the right elemental attack. Take Frost Gleeloks as our primary example: you want to use fire against them rather than ice or water.
However, while this basic rule is the key to your success, there’s more to this battle than meets the eye. If you want to find out more, and eventually slay this dragon, then keep on reading.
How To Beat Frost Gleeloks In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom
Use Fire Keese Eyeballs fused to arrows to beat Frost Gleeloks; the eyeballs will target the three heads regardless of your aim. Once the enemy is on the ground, use your strongest melee weapon to do maximum damage.
You can use other items to Fire Keese Eyeballs, like Fire Fruit. However, they won’t hit the right target every time if you’ve got poor aim, which is why eyeballs are the way to go.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Frost Gleelok isn’t going to make this fight easy; not only does it shoot ice beams at Link, but it’ll also throw large snowballs as well.
The ice beams are the bigger issue, as they’ll freeze Link in place while taking lots of hearts in the process. Ideally, you want to have enough stamina to outrun the beams – I had two stamina wheels and managed to avoid the attacks (most of the time).
If you want to be faster while running on snow, equipping Snow Boots will give Link a much needed boost.
Frost Gleeloks don’t go down quickly, so make sure to pack a lot of meals, fairies, and arrows. As long as you have all of those, and patience, you’ll be able to beat Frost Gleeloks in no time!
Hopefully, this guide on how to beat Frost Gleeloks in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has inspired you to take on the other Gleeloks of Hyrule. If not though, you can always learn how to beat Battle Talus instead.
