What happens when the mighty American confectionery company Hershey teams up with the creators of the most famous electric critter of all time? You get a brand new range of Hershey's Kisses that look like Pokéballs, that's what!

Original Pokémaniacs will be pleased to know that the new range is based on the Kanto 151 Pokémon and looks a lot like a teardrop-shaped Pokéballs with Pokémon on the bottom!

'Our collaboration with Pokémon combines the timeless appeal of Hershey's Kisses chocolates with the joy of discovery and collecting,' said Ashley Reeb, Senior Associate Brand Manager at The Hershey Company, 'making it more than just a treat. The special-edition foils may spark a little friendly competition but also unite fans around their love for milk chocolate and Pokémon.'

Hershey's are also releasing a box that you can store your chocolates in, so it sounds like they're thinking about making these a proper collectible item. I'm not sure I would be able to sit with a box of these in front of me and not want to eat them, or consider keeping them wrapped up in the foil until they go mouldy. But hey, I guess if people are selling crisps that look like Charizard, then I guess anything is possible, right?
