BitmoLab, the creative minds behind the popular case that bought GAME BOY like controls to the iPhone in a modular, and portable form-factor has just teased an upcoming limited edition variant for those who love transparent tech from the 2000s.
Called the GAMEBABY it's a thin-case that attaches to your iPhone and can be spun round to add the controls to the front of your case that pairs perfectly with the Delta Emulator on iOS. BitmoLab even offer custom Delta Skins for the GAMEBABY too.
What makes this one different is that it's coming in a transparent version to pay respect to the transparent tech and game consoles of the 2000s, with bright red and silver metal metal with a clear base case to show of the plastic internal design but also to show off your iPhone too.
It is not yet revealed what price this will be, nor what versions of the iPhone it will work with, but both images shared show the iPhone 17 Pro Max, so perhaps its an exclusive to that version. It's likely less than 1,000 will made too, after our conversations with BitmoLab, making them very limited.
I have had my GAMEBABY case for the iPhone 17 Pro and love using it, it matches product design with retro gaming in a way that's actually portable. Overall the build quality is great, although my only concern was for the longetivity of the clasps, which I have no idea if they have changed for this design. We will try to get this in to cover, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know.
As mentioned, the pricing, release date and iPhone compatibility has yet to be revealed, but i wouldn't be surprised if we see this officially release over the coming weeks!
