If you're a subscriber to our Collectible Club Podcast, then you will no doubt have heard Brandon talking with fond affection about the Japanese Dragonite card he bought recently. It's no secret that he's a big fan of Dragonite, which means he's probably going to be heading down to McDonald's every day with his son for the next month to try and bag it in a Happy Meal as part of the Dragon-type promotion that's just hit the UK.
The promo is called the Dragon Discovery, and while it's not new to other parts of the world, it's very much new to us collectors in the UK. From now until June 17th, budding Pokémaniacs can grab cards of Dragonite, Rayquaza, Charizard, Roaring Moon, and many other famous faces in special packs. Obviously, there will be other critters like Pikachu and Eevee mixed in for good measure, but I wonder how many double cheeseburgers we're going to have to chomp through before we get Brandon that tasty Dragonite card!
