There's something in the water, and it's bigger and better than ever. I'm not talking about a ferocious Great White, but the Jaws Retro Edition bundles heading to Limited Run Games. Yes, the 1987 Jaws game is back with brand new quality of life features and some epic extras for you to pick up as part of three different bundles.
First released on the NES back in 1987, the Jaws game sees players taking a boat across the deep blue sea, battling various sea creatures, and trying to stay alive whenever Jaws sticks his ugly, sharky nose in your business. Drop charges on Jaws to try and stop him, use crustaceans as items, explore using a submarine, and much more. It was the ultimate companion for every Jaws fan, and now it's back in time to celebrate 50 years of Spielberg's classic.

The Jaws Retro Edition boasts the ability to save anywhere and a rewind function, as well as a Music Player, a Gallery, and Trophies/Achievements you can bag along the way. The Enhanced Version boasts, according to LRG, a 'massively expanded, multi-chapter adventure filled with nods and homages to all four Jaws films.' It has brand new missions to complete and abilities to uncover, and more enemies to give you a serious challenge, fully realising the potential of the original NES game.
As with all LRG releases, there are different packages of the game available to pre-order, both with the Retro and Enhanced versions of the game. The Standard Edition costs $34.99 and comes with an instruction booklet like the good old days.

The Bigger Boat Edition (amazing marketing) pictures in the featured image of this article comes with a Game Soundtrack CD, a Pixel Art Lamp in the shape of Jaws breaking out of the water, an Enamel Pin, and a Keychain. It's for the true collectors and comes with a price tag of $99.99.
Both editions of the game are available to pre-order from 10am EST on Friday 19th December. That's 3pm if you're in the United Kingdom or 7 am in California. Pre-orders will close on January 18th, so you'll have to be on the ball if you want to snap up one for yourself!
