Just when you thought that AYANEO had shown you all of the cards in their hand, they announce that the Flip 1S DS isn't the only handheld that they're working on at the moment. They're also working on a return to the KB range of handhelds with the AYANEO Flip 1S KB, ditching the touchscreen on the DS model in exchange for a full QWERTY Keyboard for Windows gaming.

In a blog post over on the AYANEO website I checked out via Notebook Check, they've explained that the 1S KB has taken the same standard keyboard layout from the original KB, albeit with bigger keys that sit slightly prouder than its predecessor. The keyboard is situated slightly lower down the handheld, too, all in the name of creating a better sense of 'visual harmony'.

Both the 1S DS and the 1S KB will reportedly run AYASpace 3.0, and all signs are pointing to both handhelds using the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chipset. There's still nothing about a definite price yet, with AYANEO giving contradicting statements that both devices may be released at the end of June and prices not being released until the beginning of July.
It's all a little confusing, with the only place to secure solid information currently being the official Indiegogo campaign for the Flip 1S DS. Until the press conference for both devices drops in July, we'll be checking Indiegogo every half hour to keep up to date with the latest information!
