ASUS ROG Ally Prices And Release Date Revealed

ASUS ROG Ally

After a long period of speculation and anticipation, the price and release date for the ASUS ROG Ally have finally been revealed.

For those unfamiliar with this new handheld PC, it is a new powerhouse that aims to be the Steam Deck killer.

And when we see the specs and the price, we expect that it could absolutely give Valve some serious competition.

So let’s take a look at what to expect from this exciting new portable gaming console and see why you might need to start saving some money.

ASUS ROG Ally

The ASUS ROG Ally is a Windows 11 based portable gaming device that packs a serious punch.

It was first announced on April 1st of this year, and many believed it to be an April Fool’s joke. It just seemed too good to be true. But as it turns out, this new handheld is very real.

The design of the Ally was a point of contention for many, with its very strong “gamer” vibes. They clearly wanted to go really extreme with the look.

And if you’re holding a giant gaming console, why not go loud with it? We kinda love it. You’ll surely get some looks of interest at the coffee shop.

ASUS ROG Ally

The ROG Ally uses a custom AMD Zen 4 Ryzen APU and RDNA3 iGPU. Which means that it will potentially be the fastest AMD APU in the handheld market.

It also features a 7 inch display at 1080P (120Hz, 500 nits), which is a much better resolution than the Steam Deck and the Nintendo Switch by far.

The promotional trailer for the ASUS ROG Ally also mentions intelligent cooling with silent dual fans.

Paired with the ROG CG Mobile eGPU, an external dock, you can charge and connect the device to your television with boosted resolution capabilities.

And of course, this will easily be able to handle all of your locally installed PC games, Steam, Epic Game Store and Xbox Game Pass.

So as you can see, this thing is aiming to be very powerful and just all around the best handheld gaming PC ever created in every way possible.
