After an official reveal at the start of December, we've now been given all of the specs for the upcoming ANBERNIC RG447 at the very end of a new YouTube teaser video.
The 43-second teaser manages to pack a lot in, going over the core selling points of the handheld like the one-piece glass panel with ultra-narrow bezels, a 120Hz LTPS In-cell high refresh-rate display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, and a high-speed cooling fan. Showing every spec in the trailer would have made it about 3 minutes long, so ANBERNIC opted to just put a still of all the specs at the very end, allowing us to pause and nerd out to our heart's content.

Essentially, a lot of the specs are the same as the RG477M that we reviewed back in August, so I'll already be able to tell you how it's going to perform with regard to console emulation and the AI features.
MicroSD card expansion up to 2TB means that there's no end to the Retro ROMs that you could upload to here (all legally sourced from your own collection, of course), and the 5,500 mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of gaming, which is more than enough for most long journeys or for picking up and playing in the house without being tethered to a power supply or portable charger.
ANBERNIC have opted to include large-angle 3D Hall-effect sticks, which will definitely last the test of time and heated gaming sessions. The screen is multi-touch and supports a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It also runs on Android 14 and boasts some AI features such as game guide retrieval and real-time translation. We've tested those last two on the RG477M, and I'd just avoid them if I were you - they're pointless and detract from the user experience completely.
In terms of games, the RG477V can handle titles up to Wii U, 3DS, and PS2. You should be able to play GameCube, PSP, N64, and PS Vita titles on here with ease, and after testing out Need for Speed: Most Wanted: Black Edition on the RG477M, we already know that it will be able to handle the most demanding titles on the PS2! I can imagine PSP titles looking a little squashed on this screen, but it's perfect for the CRT era of consoles and if you don't mind switching between screens on the DS.
Now that we have a full specs list, I can imagine that pre-orders for the RG477V will be going live within the next couple of weeks and shipping Q1 2026. ANBERNIC don't usually wait around too long once they've released information like this, and besides, they'll already be working on the next handheld that's coming out in a couple of months!
I'll let you all know as soon as pre-orders go live, so keep checking back for more information!
