ROM hacks can be tough, and with the best will in the world, even the most experienced gamers can fall foul of the new storylines and tougher difficulties that come with them. You think you know Pokémon Fire Red inside out, and then BAM, along comes a hack that takes you completely by surprise and leaves you crying out for cheats to help you along the way.
If you've been playing Pokémon Odyssey and have felt something similar to my ramblings above, then don't worry, because I've made a list of every cheat that you might need to tackle this game one-handed while eating a bag of crisps and rewatching all of Stranger Things from the beginning.
How To Enter Cheat Codes
How you enter your cheat codes will depend on what emulator you are using. In the examples below, I'm using Delta for iPhone, which has a cheat codes option when you click onto the Delta menu while playing. Simply press the '+' button, name your cheat, select the Cheat Platform listed next to the cheat below (Code Breaker or GameShark), and enter the code, remembering to use the Master Code first or add specific item codes when prompted.
Remember to make sure you save your game before you use any cheats. Sometimes cheats won't work if you have too many active, so keep that in mind if one doesn't work straight away.

Sick of coming across Pidgeys from the very begining of the game? We hear you; it's much better to capture a Charizard straight away and then up its stats to 999 with another cheat soon after.
Note - I've tried lots of these codes and had great success, but the codes for the legendary Pokémon seem to be more 'miss' than 'hit'. Typing in the code for Mew brought up Mawile instead, so bear this in mind when you're inputting your codes.
