Sargon takes the stage in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, a new side-scrolling Prince of Persia game on the Switch!
If you loved Metroid Dread, then you’re going to be all over this new game. The Persian-inspired levels look amazing, and the graphics are superb!
Sargon must save the Prince of Persia and bring balance back to the world. That’s all we know of the storyline so far, and we’re very excited to figure out the rest as we play!
The new game drop s January 18th, and if you pre-order from Nintendo eShop, you’ll get an exclusive outfit too!
First Look At The Prince Of Persia Switch Game
Yeah, that’s a bow that Sargon is wielding!
Use a bow and a sword as well as time-changing powers as you move through epic lands while battling humongous monsters.
And I mean humongous; just check out the guy in the still below!
The depth to these levels has blown my mind compeltey; to say it’s a side-scrolling game, you can see so far into the background that it almost looks like Sargon could just turn tail and run off!
Collect amulets to get new powers and power up as you go through the game. Prince of Persia The Lost Crown certainly looks like it’ll be a credit to the Prince of Persia saga, and we’re anticipating big things!

The new Prince of Persia The Lost Crown game will release on January 18th 2024. You can pre-oder the digital version now from the Nintendo eShop!
Who’s excited to step back into the world of Prince of Persia? We’ve loved this series since first playing Sands of Time on the GameCube, and as 2D games have seen a rise in popularity with modern gamers recently, we’re looking forward to seeing how this holds up with some of the new big hitters.
