If you’re a fan of the new Pokemon introduced with the Teal Mask, you’re going to want to know how to evolve Applin into Dipplin in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
There are a plethora of new additions introduced with this DLC and one of those is this new evolution for Applin.
With two separate evolutions already in the game, it might have come as a shock to you that Applin would be graced with yet another.
But, as a tasty treat, Dipplin comes into the fold as a third option for you.
How is it done I hear you ask? Well, the evolution method definitely falls into a similar path as the rest so let’s get into it.
How to Evolve Applin into Dipplin in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet The Teal Mask
If you’re looking to evolve Applin into Dipplin, you’ll need to purchase an Apple, similar to that of the Tart and Sweet Apples needed for the other evolutions. This time though, you’re looking for a Syrupy Apple.
The fact that it’s a Syrupy Apple needed to evolve Applin into Dipplin makes complete sense considering the design of this one, mirroring that of an apple dipped in toffee.
If you haven’t picked up a Syrupy Apple already, you can secure yourself one nice and easily.
What you’ll need to do is visit Mossfell Confluence in the top left corner of the map where you can directly purchase Apples from a little stand attached to the small farmhouse.
When you reach it, you’ll actually get a notification pop up stating that Syrupy Apples are for sale so you know you’re in the right place.
A Syrupy Apple will set you back 500 Pokemon Dollars which is an extremely small amount and you should definitely have enough.
Once you get a Syrupy Apple, all you need to do now is to head into your inventory and use it on your Applin.
This will trigger the evolution animation right away and Dipplin will now be yours!
And that’s all there is to it, you can now enjoy your new Applin evolution throughout The Teal Mask.
