Limited Run Games has announced the various physical editions set to release in support of Gargolyes Remastered on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
We first learned that this classic Sega Genesis title would be getting a remaster just a couple of months ago.
The remaster is set to release on October 19th for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
But today’s news confirms that those building up their physical game collection will have another exciting entry before the end of the year.
And there is one particular edition that I don’t think anybody expected. Let’s take a look!
Gargoyles Remastered
We were quite excited to learn that one of the best Disney games of all time would be getting an official HD remaster.
And we did already know that Limited Run Games would be handling the physical distribution as well.
This doesn’t really surprise us, as LRG has become the go to physical distributor for the best current and retro titles.
There will be standard and collector’s editions for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 available from Limited Run Games.
Standard editions are to be expected; a beautiful game box and the game media of your choice.
It’s going to be those collector’s editions with all of the really exciting bonus content that we’re looking forward to getting our hands on.

Something we totally did not see coming was a re-release of the classic Gargoyles title for Sega Genesis as well!
The Genesis Standard Edition comes in a black game cartridge and the Genesis Collector’s Edition has a unique stone textured cartridge and rainbow foil box cover.
That’s right, these are two brand new Sega Genesis Gargoyles game cartridges that you can purchase in 2023.
How cool is that?! Needless to say, our retro fancies are tickled.
Purchasing Information
The Gargoyles Remastered physical editions will be available to purchase on the Limited Run Games website today, September 8th, at 10am Eastern Time.
The Collector’s Editions will retail for $174.99usd, standard editions at $69.99usd, and the Collector’s Sega Genesis edition at $99.99usd.
All of these items from Limited Run Games are pre-orders, with fulfillment date currently not official.
There will be a limited quantity available, and they plan on closing pre-orders on October 22nd.
So you’ll absolutely want to get your orders in as soon as possible, especially for the Sega Genesis editions.
