AntStream Arcade has just announced that their massive library of nearly 1400 retro video games are coming to Xbox Series X/S.
Which marks the first time many of these games would come to the Microsoft console family. And it is also the first third-party cloud gaming service on the Xbox.
This announcement represents a lot of exciting firsts and advances for retro gaming on current gen consoles.

AntStream Arcade is a Netflix like service for retro video games. And their library of licensed titles is absolutely massive, and expanding every day.
There is clearly a strong focus on retro and arcade with classics like Art of Fighting, Asteroids, Double Dragon, Metal Slug, Bubble Bobble, Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, and the list goes on.

The AntStream service brings their catalogue of nearly 1400 titles to your Xbox instantly, and all optimized for the system.
Additional features includes cloud game saves, online high scores & tournaments, and resume play across multiple devices.
They also boast a unique feature where they mod the original games to create new mini-game challenges.
One example is Playing Pac-Man where your goal is to avoid the dots and to chase the ghosts.
This opens up many new and fun ways to replay those classic games you may have already experienced hundreds of times in the past.
AntStream on Xbox
The AntStream service was previously available on PC, Mac, Linux, Android, Android TV, Firestick, Samsung TV and web browsers.
And today’s Xbox announcement marks the first major console to support AntStream natively.
AntStream will also be the first third-party cloud gaming service to launch on Xbox, bringing many classics from Atari, Sega, Nintendo, and PlayStation to the Xbox for the first time.
Antstream Arcade on Xbox retails for $29.99USD for an annual subscription or a $79.99USD lifetime pass.
