Limited Run Games has been revealing a lot of news during their Summer Games Showcase, including new TMNT Vinyls, but one underrated announcement that we saw was that Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch.
This is one of the best Roller Coaster Tycoon games of the bunch, and it’s now available in full HD on one of the best home consoles ever.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 was released in 2004 on PC, and came off the back of The Sims hype train. It was a way for children to build their own parks, experience custom made rides and get their hands dirty by planting trees and building the parks of their dreams.
It was better than the originals thanks to the graphical advancements and a wide range of expansions that added water parks and even an animal park too thanks to the “complete edition”, making your parks even more customisable.
This complete edition is now in fact coming to Switch, featuring the Soaked! and Wild! expansions allowing you to build a Zoo and feature giant water slides in your park!
There’s no denying that the Nintendo Switch is a great way to play these types of construction games, and even better when it’s on an OLED display!
As of now there’s no set release date apart from “2023”, so I can imagine it will be released towards the end of the year, or pre-orders opened at least.
