Today’s Nintendo Direct has revealed Detective Pikachu 2 for Nintendo Switch and new Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC Trailers for us to consume; what a day!
The original Detective Pikachu released on Nintendo 3DS back in 2018, but now the second game has been officially announced for Nintendo Switch.
Tim Goodman and Pikachu are the detective duo, with a goal of fighting crime within the city, and the game still uses the signature graphic style that we all loved from the original.
And yes, before you ask, Pikachu is still addicted to coffee.
The trailer shows off a wide range of Pokemon, a hint at how you might solve the cities unique mysteries and a look at the mighty Mewtwo.
This scene gave me movie vibes, which I think will please many Pokemon fans!
Detective Pikachu Returns released on Nintendo Switch on October 6th 2023.
