Konami just announced that they are launching a new Yu-Gi-OH trading card set in Europe and Oceania – Speed Duel GX: Duelists of Shadows.

The new box set contains Shadow Riders and other villains from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

Speed Duel GX: Duelists of Shadows

The newly updated Speed Duel GX: Duelists of Shadows box set is considered an all-in-one box.

So it should contain everything necessary to get you playing with up to eight players.

There’s 8 pre-constructed decks as well as plenty of additional cards to build your own custom setup.

Every box contains 228 cards. That’s 200 Common Cards, 20 Skill Cards, and 8 Secret Rare Cards.

There will also be five more random Secret Rares from the possible 24 available in the complete set.

Those eight Secret Rare cards means there would be one per pre-contructed deck.

The new Speed Duel GX: Duelists of Shadows is available March 30th and sells for $29.99usd per box set.

Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Speed Duel

Cards From Yu-Gi-Oh! Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box

Speed Duel is an offset of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading card game (TCG).

And this play style was made popular from the Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS mobile and PC game.

That title has over 150 million downloads, so obviously it’s quite popular among YGO:TCG players.

The Yu-Gi-Oh Speed Duel GX game features four card types: Monster Cards, Spell Cards, Trap Cards and Skill Cards.

Each game would last about ten minutes, hence the “Speed Duel” name.

The purpose is to make a very easy entry point into the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG world.
