If you’ve already soaked up our guide on figuring out all Class types in Fire Emblem Engage, then the next logical step is to learn how to change Class in Fire Emblem Engage.

Changing Classes is the best way to ensure your allies are ready for whatever Lord Sombron throws at them… which is going to be a lot.

To avoid heavy casualties, and seeing the dreaded “GAME OVER” screen, you’ll want to train your allies hard, and ensure their stats are the best they can be.

Unless you want to lose, which is weird, but hey, whatever floats your boat!

Each Unit has a limited pool of Classes available, so if you’re unsure of what options you’ll get it’s wise to figure out all Unit Types in Fire Emblem Engage before continuing.

Now that’s out the way, it’s time to ask yourself – are you ready to advance to the next stage? I promise it’s easy-peasy to do.

How To Change Class In Fire Emblem Engage

To change from Base Class to Advance Class, you need to use a Master Seal. Select the character you want to advance, choose “change class” and confirm your choice.

And voila, your ally has now advanced to a new Class! Not only do they get a stats boost, but they’ll get a snazzy outfit change too.

Before I tell you how to get Master Seals, don’t forget that what Advance Classes are available depends on what a character’s Base Class is. In Chloe’s case, she only had the options of Griffin Knight or Wyvern Knight available.

If I’d wanted Chloe to be Hero Advance Class, she’d first need to train as a Sword Fighter. To do this, I’d need to use a Second Seal instead of a Master Seal.

To help you remember, think of it like this:

Master Seals upgrade your Class, while Second Seals allow you to retrain as a different Class.

Although both seals are beneficial, most players, especially those not familiar with the franchise, will find Master Seals the most advantageous.

To get a Master Seal, simply visit the Item Shop at The Somniel Plaza. However, you’ll sometimes be given a Master Seal as a reward for completing Skirmishes or defeating difficult enemies.

Out of those two options, though, purchasing a Master Seal is by far the quickest and easiest way.

Similarly, Second Seals can also be purchased at the Item Shop.

And that’s it, folks. Now you know how to change Class in Fire Emblem Engage – I told you it was easy to do. But if you’d rather play around with something even easier, why not learn how to change outfits in Fire Emblem Engage (The Easy Way) instead?
