Retroid Pocket 3 Now Has An Official Line of Grips

Retroid Pocket 3 Grips

GoRetroid has launched their own line of grips for the Retroid Pocket 3 and we gotta admit, they are looking pretty nice!

These new grips are made to fit both the Retroid Pocket 3 and the Retroid Pocket 3+, since they share the same form factor.

They are made from a flexible TPU material and are available in transparent clear, sky blue, and black.

The Pocket 3s are already pretty comfortable devices, with some of the best triggers and analogue sticks in the scene.

But if you’re hoping to put in some serious hours of game play, these grips surely can add to your longevity.

When we first saw pics of these grips a few days ago, we assumed it was something made by the community. So to find out that this is an official GoRetroid product is pretty cool.

Good to see them still supporting the Pocket 3 and not just moving on to the next thing. Which reminds us…

Giving GoRetroid A Second Chance?

You know we weren’t too happy with GoRetroid when they released the Pocket 3+ just weeks after the Pocket 3, which felt quite shady.

And for that reason, we absolutely hate to give them any sort of positive mention.

But truth be told, the Pocket 3+ is a pretty great device. As you should expect from GoRetroid. Which is why that whole situation disappointed us so much.

But we’re trying to move on from that. New year, new me.

So here we are… if you have a Pocket 3 or 3+, you’re gonna’ want to get one of these grips for added comfortability.

Pre-Order Information

If you visit the GoRetroid website anytime before February 8th, it will read “Sold Out”. But fear not. That’s because they are not available to purchase yet.

Pre-orders officially begin on Wednesday February 8th, and you can pick up a grip for $15usd.

GoRetroid says they anticipate shipping about two weeks after pre-orders.

They also indicate that there’s a $5 off promotion for the first day only. Not sure if that means they will be $10 on the 8th, or if the normal price is $20. Guess we will see on the 8th.

So what do you guys think? Are you still supporting GoRetroid? Are you still mad about the Pocket 3+ fiasco?
