Only this time around, we’re studying Math.
I absolutely hate Math. Always have. But I can’t deny that Ms. Tyme tries her hardest to make each lesson enjoyable.
And while I’m certainly no Math savant, I am someone who has all the exam answers you want and very much need to gain a passing score. I know that’s technically cheating, but I won’t tell Director Cavell if you don’t!

Math Class Answers In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Similar to Biology, you’ll have three Math classes before taking a break for your Midterm. When you return, you’ll have three more classes, before finishing off the semester with your Math Final.
These answers I’m about to share are for the class answers only.
For the Midterm and Final answers, you need to scroll a little further down.
Math Class Question 1:
“If the move Water Gun hits a Fire Type Pokemon, what becomes of the move’s damage?”
- Answer: It’s doubled
Math Class Question 2:
“Pokeballs cost $200 each – if you have $2,000 and bought as many Pokeballs as you could afford, how many would you receive?”
- Answer: Eleven
Math Class Question 3:
“Does anyone know what percentage chance a Pokemon has of landing a critical hit?”
- Answer: About 4 percent (4 in 100 hits)
Math Class Question 4:
“How much more damage would this Pokemon deal?”
- Answer: Triple damage
Math Class Question 5:
“Between Surf and Hydro Pump, which move would you want to use yourselves?”
- Answer: Any answer
Math Class Question 6:
“What happens to that move’s power?”
- Answer: It’s power becomes 300
Although it’s nice to get every question right, it doesn’t matter if you get the class questions wrong – wrong answers only count during the Midterm and Final Exam.
Midterm Math Exam Questions & Answers
Midterm Exam Question 1:
“How much damage does Water Gun do when it hits a Fire Type Pokemon?”
- Answer C: Double damage
Midterm Exam Question 2:
“How much damage does Razor Leaf do when it hits a Fire Type Pokemon?”
- Answer A: Half damage
Midterm Exam Question 3:
“If you spent $2,000 on as many $200 Pokeballs as possible, how many would you get?”
- Answer C: Eleven
Midterm Exam Question 4:
“What percentage chance does a Pokemon usually have to land a critical hit?”
- Answer B: About 4 percent
Midterm Exam Question 5:
“How much damage does a move deal when it lands a critical hit?”
- Answer B: One and a half times as much
To get a passing score in the Math Midterm, you need to get three out of five questions correct.
Final Math Exam Questions & Answers
Final Exam Question 1:
“How many Great Balls could you purchase with $3,000 if each one costs $600?”
- Answer A: Five
Final Exam Question 2:
“If a Water Type move with the power of 100 lands a critical hit on a Grass Type Pokemon, what will the move’s power be?”
- Answer B: 75
Final Exam Question 3:
“Under normal conditions, what percentage chance does Stone Edge have to land a critical hit?”
- Answer C: About 12 percent
Final Exam Question 4:
“If a Pokemon uses Sword Dance twice to boost its Attack by four stages, how much damage will its physical moves then do?”
- Answer B: Triple Damage
Final Exam Question 5:
“If a Rock Type Pokemon whose Tera Type is Rock Terastallizes, what will the power of its Rock Type moves be multiplied by?”
- Answer C: 2
To pass your Math Final you need to get four out of five answers correct. If you manage that, you’ll be given 5 Exp. Candies M.
