It’s Morphin’ Time! We’re listing all Power Rangers movies in order and find out how to watch them here!
It’s safe to say that I was obsessed with the Power Rangers when I was younger. I had all the toys and all the movies. I even had the Blue Rangers gloves that made punching noises when I moved my hands.
So, I guess you could say I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to the Rangers back catalogue.
From feature length movies to short films that have to be seen to be believed, here’s a list of the Power Ranger movies from 1995 to 2022!
Table of Contents
1. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995)
I watched the very first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie film so much as a kid that I think I almost burned the VHS player out.
Yeah, this movie was on VHS; that’s how old it is!
Rita Repunzel, Ivan Ooze, Lord Z, Goldar, all fighting the original Power Rangers and their Zords.
Not only that, but the bit at the end where they all become Ninja’s with new Ninja Zords… that was something else!
The Rangers have lost their powers, Zordon is dying, and all hell is breaking loose. Can they find answers on the far away planet of Dulcea?
There’s a Red Dragon Zord that says they can!
2. Power Rangers Zeo: Zeo Quest (1996)
Once again, the Power Rangers have lost their powers… making them just normal Rangers!
This time, they’ve got to search for Zeo crystals that will restore their powers and bring them back to ass-kicking form.
And don’t worry, Bulk and Skull are still in it!
That could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. I guess they’re a little like the Jar Jar Binks of the Power Rangers universe.
3. Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997)
Led by Tommy and Adam, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie sees the Power Rangers trying to thwart an evil space pirate.
The Zords are a little lame in comparison to the previous movies, but if you love monstrously fast cars, then they might be up your street.
Divatox, a dodgy pirate lad, wants to release a demon from imprisonment inside a volcano. Expect wizardry, exhaust fumes, and lots of Power Rangers classic stances!
4. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (2000)
If we’re going to make a list of all Power Rangers movies in order, then we need to include every type of film too.
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue is technically the first three episodes of the series stitched together into a feature length film.
Still, it works really well. Watching everything in one go helps to explain how the Lightspeed Rescue team came into being and gives fans a better grip of who the enemies and allies are.
5. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue – Titanium Ranger: Curse of the Cobra (2000)
I’m glad we’ve finally moved away from the Power Rangers losing their powers, and Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue – Titanium Ranger: Curse of the Cobra has a fantastic storyline that you won’t forget in a hurry!
The Power Rangers are trying to save the universe as usual, but there’s a deeper storyline going on here too.
The Titanium Ranger discovers he has a cobra tattoo that signifies his time is running out.
Every time he morphs, the cobra gets a little bigger, slowly threatening to take over his life.
Deciding whether to aid his fellow rangers and risk death or sitting back and doing nothing isn’t a difficult choice for him to make, but will he fall before the battle ends?
6. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue – The Queen’s Wrath (2001)
Why do people aways insist in trying to destroy the Power Rangers? This time in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue – The Queen’s Wrath, Queen Banshera is just out to destroy everyone and everything.
If you’re watching these films in order (as you should be), Diabolico, the villain from the last movie, has joined forces with the good guys, making Ol’ Banshera really angry!
This isn’t a long movie, but its a great little film for those wanting to get the full Power Rangers experience.
7. Power Rangers Samurai: Clash of the Red Rangers (2011)
Remember the RPM Ranger Red? He’s teaming up with the Samura Rangers in Power Rangers Samurai: Clash of the Red Rangers.
Sadly, both Red Rangers turn against each other after being hit with hypnobolts. Now they’re attacking each other when they should be trying to save the world!
With villains from the RPM dimension running loose, the Rangers have certainly got a lot on their hands to deal with!
8. Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle (2014)
Next up on our list of all Power Rangers movies in order is one of the most legendary battles of all time, Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle!
At 55-minutes long, this final episode of the Super Megaforce series is a tour de force featuring multiple Power Rangers from previous series teaming together.
I mean, that’s the coolest thing you’ve ever heard right?
Emperor Mavro has weakened the Power Rangers almost to the point of return. Their Zords have gone, their powers almost depleted.
That’s when every Power Ranger from every generation comes to their aid.
If you like super groups and team ups, then you’ll be all over this!
9. Power/Rangers (2015)
NB – This is a darker and grittier example of the Power Rangers universe and features mature content not suitable for younger viewers. Viewer discretion is advised, and Retro Dodo will not take any responsibility for any nightmares that may ensue.
This short film is only 15 mins long, but it shows the Power Rangers in a whole new light.
We’re talking blood, violence, and a much darker feel to the normally light-hearted show.
Director Joseph Kahn has made a small masterpiece here. If you’re looking for a Power Rangers movie with a difference, give this one a watch.
Ok, so it’s not part of the main canon, but it served as a nice teaser while we waited for the 2017 film to drop.
10. Power Rangers (2017)
Power Rangers serves as more of a remake of the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers film, with Rita Repunzel taking up residence as the main baddie once more.
Witness the original Zords back in action, with the suits souped up to the max alongside some epic new special effects.
Taking a trip back to Angel Grove and watching unsuspecting teens discover new super powers might be nothing new after watching the other films in this list, but man this remake was so good to watch.
A blast from the past while feeling fresh and new at the same time!
11. Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Street Fighter Showdown (2018)
This film might only be 8 minutes long, but it’s one of the best crossovers that you never knew you needed.
Seeing Ryu and Chun-Li as Power Rangers as they help Tommy to stop evil rangers… what’s not to love?
The Morphin’ grid as been tainted and Power Rangers are causing havoc. Who’s behind it?
Yep, Rita Repunzel. That lass has got a serious grudge.
Join Tommy and his new Street Fighter crew as they save the world in one of the shortest films going!
