2. Walk Through Walls

Every Pokemon player has been curious at some point in their journey to go to places where you’re not allowed.

These places can be closed until you win a certain amount of badges or complete a particular portion of the story, or simply kept away from the player’s control because of some event.

Well, now you can trespass into these places with this simple cheat. Once you input this cheat, you’ll be able to walk into places without any issue, including through walls and other structures that lock your way.

But make sure you don’t go too far off the map; these are places you aren’t meant to go; you’ll most probably lag your game or, even worse, corrupt the save file.

So make sure to save before embarking on such journeys.

This simple cheat will allow you to complete your entire Sinnoh Pokedex without having to catch a single Pokemon in the region. This way, you’ll be able to complete the whole Sinnoh Pokedex even before you’ve completed the main storyline of the game or beaten the Champion Cynthia!

Just make sure to use this cheat before you get the National Pokedex. All your Sinnoh Pokedex entries will be transferred into the National Dex once you acquire them.

4. Unlock all items 

As the name suggests, this cheat will allow you to access every single item available in the game without having to complete the entirety of the game.

This is great as now you can access items that can boost your Pokemon’s performance right from the first gym battle, giving you a nice boost!

Not only that, you’ll get 995x of each item. You obviously don’t need that amount of these items, but this cheat is used to get every single item, not to get 900 of each, so use it to access the items you want, and discard the rest.

5. Unlimited Master Balls

The normal Pokeballs are not that great when catching rare Pokemon in the game; you’ll probably have to spend 10-15 balls to catch a rare Pokemon with each go.

Not only that, you’ll waste so much of your time, and sometimes the Pokemon will just run away. So be smart and use this cheat!

You’ll get access to every type of Pokeball in the game, which includes the Master Balls. For some reason, Pokemon Platinum doesn’t have any cheat that will allow you to get a lot of master balls, but this will give you access to 995x Master balls and other Poke balls.

Every Master ball guarantees to catch one Pokemon.

In that case, 995 master balls will be more than enough to catch every Pokemon in Platinum.

7. Encounter Shiny Pokemon

Shiny Pokemon are a particular type of Pokemon with a different color scheme than the regular variants of the same Pokemon. Because of this, the Pokemon are extremely rare, and most of the time, players spend hours and hours trying to catch one shiny Pokemon they really like. 

If you value your time, just input this cheat, and every Pokemon you encounter will be shiny. So if you want a shiny Flygon, just go to the place where Flygons are caught, and you’ll encounter a shiny one!

8. Catch The Enemy Trainer’s Pokemon

The cheat is pretty self-explanatory; you can now catch your enemy’s Pokemon and throw A Pokeball at them just like you would in a normal battle with a wild Pokemon.

But once you catch an enemy trainer’s Pokemon, the battle will end immediately, regardless of the amount of Pokemon the enemy still has left to fight with, so use it wisely!

9. 100% Catch Rate

This cheat code makes the unlimited master ball cheat a bit redundant, as once you input this cheat code in your game, you’ll be able to catch every Pokemon. As the name suggests, you’ll have a 100% catch rate. Regardless of the Pokemon you’re facing, be it a Pikachu or a Giratina!
