It’s time to wake up and smell the roses – come with us as we explain how you find and evolve Roselia in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!

Where to find Roselia?

Roselia itself is a pretty common find in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, being available in good numbers in Gapejaw Bog or Cloudpool Ridge in the Crimson Mirelands, as well as in the Fabled Spring in the Coronet Highlands.

Even if you have trouble with – or can’t find – a Roselia itself, the de-evolved form is Budew – and that can also be found without too much trouble in the exact same locations as Roselia, but also in the Golden Lowlands over in the Crimson Mirelands too. If you do catch a Budew, you’ll need to evolve it into a Roselia before you can evolve it into its final form of course.

How to Evolve Budew In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

To evolve Budew it into a Roselia you’ll need to raise your Friendship Level with the Pocket Monster to at least 160 during the daytime. So we’ll cover how to raise your Friendship Level next!

How to Raise Friendship Levels in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

The Friendship Level of a Pokemon can range between 0-255. When it reaches 160 or higher, consider it high enough for your Pocket Monster to evolve.

In order to raise Friendship, the easiest method is to simply break mineral rocks or use a specific Pokemon to shake a tree. Each time you do one of these actions, it’ll raise the Friendship Level of the Pokemon you use by 1 point.

Levelling up Pokemon or winning a battle with them also raises Friendship.

How To Check Friendship Levels In Pokemon Legends Arceus?

It’s surprisingly difficult to actually check on the Friendship Level of your Pokemon, but very straightforward once you know how.

The only method available is to talk to Bellamy near the Sheep pens in Jubilife Village.

However, to unlock the ability to talk to Bellamy, you’ll first need to complete quest 7 – ‘The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods’ – and request 28, Measuring Your Compatibility’.

What Do Bellamy’s Answers Mean?

Talk to Bellamy, then select the Pokemon whose Friendship Level you’d like to check. He’ll then give you a slightly cryptic answer which will tell you what Friendship Level your Pokemon is at. The most important answers are as follows:

If he says ‘it can still be better’, the Friendship Level is between 100-149.

If Bellamy says ‘you must be great partners’, your Friendship Level with that Pokemon is between 150 and 199.

When he says the relationship is ‘excellent’, that means the Friendship Level is between 200 and 254.

Lastly, if Bellamy tells you it’s at its maximum, that means your Friendship Level is 255.

How To Evolve Roselia In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

To evolve Roselia In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you will need to obtain a shiny stone from the Trader Post and give it to Roselia in order to evolve it into Roserade.

Roserade doesn’t seem to have any spawn points in the wild, so your only option to get one is to evolve your Roselia, unless you want to tackle the Alpha Roserade, then good luck!

Where to find a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

There’s a few different ways you can get yourself a Shiny Stone – the easiest is probably just to buy one from the Trader Post in Jubilife Village for 1200 Merit Points.

You also have the option of completing Request 74: ‘A Bit of Help’ – and you’ll need a Blissey in order for that request to trigger on Professor Laventon’s Request Board in Galaxy Hall. The rewards for completing this Request are a Shiny Stone and two Max Revives, so you’ll have what you need to evolve your Roselia.

So there you have it – you should now have all of the information you need to find your very own Roselia as well as evolve – or catch – its other forms!
