Always a popular choice for Pokemon Trainers – perhaps because it’s just so incredibly cute, or maybe even because it’s a symbol of good luck – the Baby Pokemon Togepi first appeared in Pokemon Gold & Silver, being given to the player as a mystery egg before its true form was revealed.
The lucky little Pocket Monster makes an appearance in Pokemon Legends: Arceus too – and we’re here to help you get your hands on one!

Where to find Togepi In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
There’s a reasonable number of locations where you can stumble upon a Togepi in the wild – head to the Cobalt Coastlands and you’ll be able to find Togepi in Tranquility Cove or Bathers’ Lagoon. You can also find Togepi in the Crimson Mirelands, specifically at Cottonsedge Prairie.
You may even find yourself face to face with an evolved form of Togepi – which is named Togetic – in Tranquility Cove at the Cobalt Coastlands, but their spawn rate is very rare.
The final evolution of Togepi, the Togekiss, is a very common find – but you’ll have to get yourself to Lake Verity at the Obsidian Fieldlands for a chance to find that particular Pocket Monster!
How to Evolve Togepi into Togetic in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
Evolving Togepi into Togetic involves raising your Friendship Level to 160 or higher. Simple, right? Of course, you’ll need to be able to know how to raise your Friendship Level too!
How to Raise Friendship Levels in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
The Friendship Level of a Pokemon can range between 0-255. When it reaches 160 or higher, consider it high enough for your Pocket Monster to evolve.
In order to raise Friendship, the easiest method is to simply break mineral rocks or use a specific Pokemon to shake a tree. Each time you do one of these actions, it’ll raise the Friendship Level of the Pokemon you use by 1 point.
Levelling up Pokemon or winning a battle with them also raises Friendship.
How To Check Friendship Levels In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
It’s surprisingly difficult to actually check on the Friendship Level of your Pokemon, but very straightforward once you know how.
The only method available is to talk to Bellamy near the Sheep pens in Jubilife Village.
However, to unlock the ability to talk to Bellamy, you’ll first need to complete quest 7 – ‘The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods’ – and request 28, Measuring Your Compatibility’.
What Do Bellamy’s Answers Mean?
Talk to Bellamy, then select the Pokemon whose Friendship Level you’d like to check. He’ll then give you a slightly cryptic answer which will tell you what Friendship Level your Pokemon is at. The most important answers are as follows:
If he says ‘it can still be better’, the Friendship Level is between 100-149.
If Bellamy says ‘you must be great partners’, your Friendship Level with that Pokemon is between 150 and 199.
When he says the relationship is ‘excellent’, that means the Friendship Level is between 200 and 254.
Lastly, if Bellamy tells you it’s at its maximum, that means your Friendship Level is 255.
How to Evolve Togepic into Togekiss in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
If you don’t catch yourself a Togekiss at Lake Verity in the Obsidian Fieldlands, you can always evolve your Togepic into one!
To do this, you’ll need a Shiny Stone – give that to your Togepic and it’ll evolve into Togekiss.
Where to find a Shiny Stone in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
There’s a few different ways you can get yourself a Shiny Stone – the easiest is probably just to buy one from the Trader Post in Jubilife Village for 1200 Merit Points.
You also have the option of completing Request 74: ‘A Bit of Help’ – and you’ll need a Blissey in order for that request to trigger on Professor Laventon’s Request Board in Galaxy Hall. The rewards for completing this Request are a Shiny Stone and two Max Revives, so you’ll have what you need to evolve your Togepic.
So there you have it – you should now be fully armed with all of the information you need to find your very own Togepi as well as evolve – or catch – its other forms!
