It’s time to head to the slopes as we figure out how to evolve Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
If anyone asks me to name a stylish Pokemon, it’s Ninetales that comes up at the front of my mind every time.
Ok, so maybe he… she… it isn’t as cool as Magmar, but so what? I wouldn’t like to go up against Alpha Ninetales without a strong team behind me.
A firm favourite for players since the early red and blue days, Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetales are ice-type variants of the famous Fire foxes.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus knows how to spice things up… or cool them down, in this case!
So, without further ado, let’s check out how to evolve Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
Where To Find Alolan Vulpix In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
Well, this is a bit of a trick question, because in order to get an Alolan Vulpix, players have to first find a normal Vulpix… or a Vulpix from the Kanto region, to be more precise.
The first thing you need to do is hotfoot it over to the Cobalt Coastlands, that area of natural beauty where all the Pokemon like to hang out. Head to the Veilstone Cape and keep an eye out for our foxy little friend.
Once you’ve found your foxy little friend, head back to Galaxy HQ and check out the blackboard in Professor Laventon’s room. You’ll find a little quest called Snow White Vulpix in the Snow written up on the board.
Sounds intriguing, right?
Once you’ve checked out the side-quest, turn on your guiding function and head towards the Alabaster Icelands.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus has some pretty funky place names, right?
You’ll need to find a lad called Keaka who’s lost his Alolan Vulpixes. Help him find five around the Avalanche Slopes, and one will cling to you like Pika to Ash’s leg.
And that, my friends, is how you get the Alolan Vulpix!
How To Evolve Alolan Vulpix In Pokemon Legends: Arceus?
To evolve Alolan Vulpix into Alolan Ninetales, you’ll need to find an Ice Stone. Don’t worry, it’s not as hard as it sounds.
You can pick one up from the trading post in Jubilife Village, that centre for all wealth and magical objects in Pokemon Legend Arceus.
You can also go treasure hunting and try to find one, but this is a little more tedious and obviously takes a heck of a lot longer.
How To Find Alpha Ninetales In Pokemon Legends Arceus
If you want to add an Alpha Ninetales into your team, then you’ll need to head to Firespit Island.
Coincidentally, if you read our how to evolve Magmar in Pokemon Legends: Arceus article, then you could kill two birds with one stone here.
Catching Alpha Ninetales isn’t easy. You’ll need all the tricks of the trade; smoke bombs, stealth spray, anything that can help you get all sneaky.
Once again, hitting Ninetales in the back is the key to catching it. Use berries to get it in the right position and then throw an Ultra Ball if you have one.
And that’s a wrap!
