Numskull has just announced the release of two super awesome quarter-scale arcade cabinets for the 1989 and 1991 classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games.
That is both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its sequel Turtles in Time coming to a (miniature) arcade near you. Or more accurately – to your home!
The first TMNT arcade title makes an appearance on our list of the best arcade games of all time. And were we not leaving room for other franchises, Turtles in Time would likely also be in there somewhere.
These two additions to Numskull “Quarter Arcades” lineup are surely long overdue. But as they say – good things come to those who wait.

TMNT Quarter Arcades Details
These quarter sized replica arcade cabinets of the classic TMNT titles are 100% fully playable machines.
Each cabinet features a 6 inch screen (4:3 ratio) and are made from wood, with the shape and buttons to match the original cabinet design as close as possible.
As to be expected, the machines also feature replicas of the original artwork that appeared on those classic arcade cabinets. Which surely will spark a lot of nostalgia for those lucky enough to actually see them in action.
The cabinet is powered by an included USB-C cable, and also has an internal battery. So you can go entirely wireless with the unit for a short period of time.
Just like the real thing, these new Quarter Arcades feature four-player co-operative gameplay.
Hidden behind the faux coin slot area are four individual USB ports for controllers.
So you have options between using the miniature joysticks & buttons on the cabinet, or by connecting wired controllers to the front of the cabinet.
The official Quarter Arcade controllers are also available to buy separately, which is nice if you wanna keep it all in one order.
With the size of these cabinets, four players might get a bit cramped. So it’s good to know that one or two can play it original style, and additional players can sit back with a controller.
I can imagine that would be a pretty fun couch party with the mini arcade on the table in front of you, or on the bar at your local arcade bar.
