The ANBERNIC RG DS is now available to pre-order on ANBERNIC's official website, starting at $93.99 for early birds or $99.99 at retail.
Which is surprising, as a leaked AliExpress listing on their official page listed it at $108 originally, which had us all worried. But ANBERNIC has stuck to their word and has priced this below $100, which we like to see!
The leaked specifications seem to be true, however, which may not be enough to emulate 3DS games at good frame rates, but we'll know more once we have a review sample.
It looks like pre-orders will also ship on the 15th December, so you may be lucky to get this before Christmas, but that's not garunteed, of course!

Again, we're not exactly sure what this can run as of yet. Nintendo DS is highly likely, as they have shown it off on their YouTube channel, along with lower-end consoles like PS1, GAME BOY, and more.
As mentioned in our AYANEO Pocket DS review, dual-screen Android gaming is still somewhat under development and a little buggy in places, but it will likely change throughout 2026 as it becomes more popular.
This is an exciting device that will certainly please many Nintendo DS fans, but is it what the masses want? Time will tell!
