In February, the owners of Console Heroes got in touch with us to show us what they have been building, alongside the request for a professional opinion about their products in general (which we were super appreciative of).

Well, we loved what we saw, potentially waited for them to develop their products and kindly asked for them to hurry up so we could relive the nostalgic memory of playing with Mighty Max and Polly Pocket toys again!

Well, they have been full steam ahead, and we are happy to announce that Console Heroes are officially available to pre-order in the United States on Amazon and Walmart.

Shipping/release dates have not been announced yet, but after our conversation with Andrew, the owner, on our upcoming podcast episode on the 4th August, we know that they will officially release in the next couple of months.

Console Heroes are also working on two other products that are not yet available to pre-order. Such as the Altered Beast playset and an upcoming SEGA Genesis playset that features the console itself, rather than the small cartridges, offering exclusive characters and a way to store your other cartridges and characters in one set.

Do not fear, UK and EU friends will get SEGA Mega Drive variants of the products shortly after too! These will be near identical physically, with some alterations to stickers, and minor tweaks to colours too.

The level of detail on these products is immense, and they've even designed the packaging to look nostalgic, as if you were in a games shop in the 90's looking for a toy to pick up with similar art from the original games box art.

I believe these will sell like hotcakes throughout the year, and will make incredible retro gaming gifts for Christmas too, so snag them while you can, as they may go out of stock due to the fact that this is a new company!
