The reveal of the Retroid Pocket 6 didn't go down too well with the retro gaming community, but was quickly resolved thanks to Retroid's understanding, and have altered the product design to meet the community's needs.
With this change comes a small delay, but after many weeks, Retroid is now showing off real images and videos of the Pocket 6 handhelds that will eventually be landing in customers' hands.
Gone are the function buttons on the chin, and welcomed is the new sleeker design, with a choice of DPAD location.
They've stuck to their promise and designed a very sleek device that, admittedly, looks a lot like others on the market, but there's no denying that it will be a very pleasant Android gaming device.

Alongside the pairing of high-end Android games and cloud streaming.

Retroid has also shown a number of backplates too, with a variation of unique colours to choose from to fit your taste buds. Orange, is likely going to be the most popular, but I think silver will be just behind it.
I am excited for this device to be released in the New Year, and I can imagine it will be an Android device that many will be intrigued by, likely because it will be the last (horizontal) one they have to buy for a very long time.
We will have one to review soon, so make sure to subscribe to our newsletter so you don't miss out on our thoughts.
