Today's Pokémon Presents was a big one for retro gamers. Not only are FireRed and LeafGreen now available to play, but there was also a GAME BOY Mini Soundtrack Player announcement alongside Pokémon XD news!

Nintendo Switch 2's GameCube NSO service will be getting one of the most expensive Pokémon games, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.

It's near impossible to buy these days due to its price, so seeing this coming to their NSO service is a lovely treat. Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness arrived on the GameCube back in 2005, and although it didn't get the best ratings of the series, it's a worthy game to explore for those who have never experienced it before.

It introduces you to over 80 new shadow Pokémon, alongside similar gameplay to that of Pokémon Colosseum.

It will arrive on Nintendo Switch Online for +Expansion Pack customers, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, in March.
