AliExpress are holding a week-long promotion with some huge discounts across their website, which thankfully includes a bunch of retro gaming products and handhelds.
I've scoured their marketplaces for some of the best deals, just in time for Christmas, from respectable sellers only. Ensuring you get them from the correct sources and quickly delivered to!
I'm actually quite impressed with some of these deals, and in some cases, they are the cheapest I've ever seen some of these products.
So, let me share with you some of my favourite picks.
Retroid Pocket G2 (£155/$203)

One of the most surprising deals that I found is actually the upcoming Retroid Pocket G2, which is releasing in a few weeks, and it's already on "sale".
Combined with AliExpress's reduction and the fact that you can pair it with a £27 off coupon, this is available for £155 here in the UK, equivalent to $203.

When you compare that to the retail $219 pricetag, that's a nice reduction on a brand new handheld that will likely not be reduced in price for a very long time.
Miyoo Mini Plus (Only £28/$35)

The Miyoo Mini Plus is one of the best, pocket-friendly retro handhelds to ever be released. It's pretty much set up out of the box, with a simple UI, runs Linux, and has enough power to emulate up to PlayStation 1.
It's a great one to gift to friends who you want to introduce to the retro handheld scene.
It has been reduced to a tiny £28/$35 on AliExpress, from a respected seller who has sold over 4,000 units. It even comes pre-loaded, which is naughty and I don't condone, but it means you can turn it on and jump into games straight out of the box.
GAMEBABY iPhone Case (£14/$20)

This awesome case created by BitmoLab can transform your iPhone 15 and/or 16 into a GAMEBOY with physical buttons.
It fits perfectly onto your phone, and can be pulled apart and switched around onto the display to offer physical buttons that pair with the popular Delta emulator on the App Store.
This is the cheapest I have ever seen it, and although it needs better clasping on the sides, it's a great deal for £14/$20, especially if you're using emulators on your iPhone a lot.
TRIMUI Brick (£52/$68)

The TRIMUI Brick is another superb vertical handheld that fits in your pocket. It has incredible build quality, looks like something Apple would build and comes with some of the best custom firmware of any sub $100 handheld we have reviewed.
It's the "minimalists" retro handheld, with a beautiful 3.2" IPS display and another power to emulate up to PlayStation 1 and Dreamcast.
It is reduced to just £52/$68, which is a few bucks cheaper than their official website, and it will ship within a week!
8BitDo M30 Wireless Controller (£14/$20)

A great little wireless controller for SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive fans is one by 8BitDo called the M30.
It's a high-quality controller for Switch, PC, Mac and Android. It connects via Bluetooth, has a rechargeable battery, a turbo function and can be purchased with an adapter that plugs into your Genesis/Mega Drive to make this compatible.
At just £14/$20 it's a great deal for those that love SEGA's best video games console ever made.
ANBERNIC RG35XX (£28/$35)

Just like the Miyoo Mini Plus, this is ANBERNIC's rival, the RG35XX. A similar form factor, the same power output, just ever so slightly different design, paired with ANBERNIC's slightly more boring front-end.
That said, it's again a great, pocketable retro handheld for beginners that is an absolute steal for £28/$35.
Pick up and play, 5+ hour battery life, pocket-friendly and good build quality, with emulation up to PlayStation 1.
TRIMUI Smart Pro (£41/$54)

Another TRIMUI device on offer is the Smart Pro, a horizontal version with a large 5" display, a beautiful minimal design, with high-quality buttons, LED joysticks and again, an easy-to-use custom interface, perfect for retro gamers.
It's likely because the new "S" model is on its way before the end of the year, but that doesn't take away from how good this is for retro game emulation up to PSP.
8BitDo 64 Controller (£24/$35)

The Analogue 64 and ModRetro's M64 are releasing soon, so what better way to treat your console than pairing it with a high-end Bluetooth controller built for the N64 (with an adapter).
It can also pair with the Switch, PC, Mac and Android too, so it can become your all-around 6-faced button gaming controller.
8BitDo make some of the best controllers on the market, and you can snag this for just £24/$35.
