Today’s Nintendo Direct has been a big one, and Retro Studios have played a big part in that, not only have they revealed the all new Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, but Nintendo and Retro Studios have revealed they are working on Donkey Kong Country Returns HD!
The original game launched on the Nintendo Wii back in 2010 and is now getting the remaster love for Nintendo Switch, releasing on January 16th 2024. It was one of the best selling games for the console and for good reason.
The announcement trailer reveals over a minute of gameplay showing Donkey and Diddy in full swing, heck even Rambi the rhino makes appearance too.
You can pass a joy-con to a friend to open up the local coop mode, and Nintendo have even added the extra levels that were featured on the Nintendo 3DS version packing it with a total of 80 levels, giving gamers hours upon hours of jungle fun.
The enhanced graphics, familiar faces and fun coop mode will make this a fun game for families to enjoy together, even if it does release after Christmas!
