Clamshell retro handhelds are all the rage this year, with the AYANEO Pocket DS releasing, the Miyoo Mini Flip that's now out and the upcoming ANBERNIC DS launching before Christmas. It's chaos!
Now, MagicX wants a slice of the pie, and today they have revealed their latest handheld called the "One Flip 50".
This comes shortly after their reveal of the Retro45, a handheld that focuses on the Nintendo 64. So it seems like they're really putting their foot down over the coming months, which I love to see!

The MagicX One Flip 50 will feature a 5" 1080 display, a MediaTek
Helio G85 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The starting price is a reasonable $95, which sticks to MagicX's budget-friendly price tags.
It looks very similar to the Retroid Pocket Flip, with what looks like a gap in the middle of the device. It has silicone direction and action keys according to the MagicX team.
I am hoping they are talking about the silicone pads underneath the buttons, and not the actual buttons themselves, as that would be horrible. The shoulder buttons are not stacked, but they will keep the device portable.

It's certainly going to have competition, but this could be one of the cheapest 5" clamshell handhelds on the market, with enough power to emulate up to and including Dreamcast and PSP well.
But only time will tell, we'll try and get this one into review for you all, and we'll update this article when we have more information!
