Incredibly Rare Swarovski X Nintendogs Nintendo DS Lite Up For Sale

swarovski nintendogs nintendo ds

Are you a Nintendo DS collector? A big fan of Nintendogs? Love sparkly stuff? Well, you’re in luck as one of the rarest Nintendo DS Lite consoles is up for grabs and it’s one of the most glamorous handhelds out there.

Ebay seller “anneech” has just listed a crown jewel. This super rare Swarovski & Nintendogs Nintendo DS was originally revealed and could be won via a sweepstake at different malls around America when Nintendogs released in 2005.

More specifically it was a Nintendogs “Mall Tour” that happened between August 5th and October 23rd which held live performances, fashion shows, tattoo stations and exclusive Nintendo gear up for grabs which included shirts, dog tags and giveaways for this limited edition console according to GameZone.

Our good friends over at ConsoleVariations states that there were between 1 and 50 produced, which makes it an insanely rare collectors item that doesn’t go up for sale often.

The handheld has been listed for £1,850 with offers being accepted, this is the equivalent to $23,25 for our American readers. This limited edition console hasn’t been sold publicly for a very long time so there’s no prices to compare it with, that said it seems like the seller knows what they have but is willing to let it go for a handsome fee.

It even comes with the box, manual and charging cables too, so its not as if its been found randomly, this has been kept in very good condition, it works and even if the glue holding the “crystals” has slightly yellowed, alongside some minor residue from stickers on the back.
