The GoRetroid Pocket Classic is a superb vertical handheld for those who want great performance up to Gamecube emulation, in a Game Boy-like format using an Android OS.

I use mine every month and it's still one of my go-tos when I travel or I am on holiday due to its form factor. I have the 6-button "Classic 6", which comes with a SEGA-like button layout in a Saturn colour-way.

However, the fans have spoken, and GoRetroid has listened. They have now officially released a new colourway, one that pays respect to the original SEGA Genesis and SEGA Mega Drive called the Classic 6 SG available for $129.

There's no difference apart from the colourway, and it's only available in the 6GB version, which is the more powerful version in comparison to the slightly cheaper 4GB versions, which I believe they no longer sell.

It started with a social post from the GoRetroid team stating that they would make this colour-way a reality if the post hit 350 likes, which it did swiftly.

Perhaps this is the start of more colourways for more GoRetroid products, who knows? But what I do know is that this colour-way looks incredibly sleek!
